I haven't done an oil painting for a long time since 2002. I finally got back to it. It's a different paint than acrylic. Oil paints take time to dry depending on how thick the layers are and can take up to 2 to 4 days to dry. I started with 6x6in hardboard size to practice by doing daily paintings. I'd like to improve my skills.
